KTP:YAG

The KTP:YAG vascular therapy is based on selective photothermolysis where the green KTP light is absorbed strongly in blood vessels while the neighboring tissue remains practically intact. The green light heats the interior of a blood vessel as well as its walls and the vessel is irreversibly damaged. The Dualis VP Plus KTP laser is thus ideal for visible red lesions (telangiectasias, angiomas, etc.) In addition, the high absorption of 532 nm light makes this laser useful also for the treatment of superficial pigmented lesions (nevi, lentigines, etc.).
